Horror Magazine - Final Draft
Feedback:
- The colours work extremely well together - Positive visual aspects / horror aesthetic achieved
- The range of stories and balance is effective - Unusual yet effective use of colour throughout
- Balance of space works really well - Use of control and maintained 'house style'
- Does it have 'the fear factor' appeal? - Film title is very dark compared to the rest of cover
Horror Magazine First Draft + Feedback
Feedback:
- Looks old fashioned - Follows conventions of typical horror magazines
- Has a good gothic appeal - Good + consistent use of colour; the red is effective
- The title works effectively - A lot of blank space that could of been used
- Whereabouts will the character go? - Lacks something to catch attention

Horror Poster - Second Draft
This was the final outcome for the second draft of my poster. I decided that keeping the blue behind the main image works extremely better as it adds in a different colour which typically does not link to the horror genre but it conveys a sense of distortion. As i wanted to make a clear difference from my first and second draft, i added in the billing block to add more conventions to add a level of complexity.
Horror Poster - First Draft
This was my first completed draft for horror poster 'Sosia'. I initially intended to only have one image of the main character but i decided that having a shadow of the same picture would present the narrative in greater detail in order for the audience to understand. The use of the trees in the background was a still from my trailer which focuses on a cross in a graveyard. I thought this would be successful as the church is one of the most important aspects in order to understand the narrative. I played around with adding filters to change the brightness of the images in order to make one more captivating to the other. To link both my main product and my poster together, I decided to use the same font which is used throughout my products which I created myself. Although this cover does not cover all the typical conventions, it covers a range of technical aspects to present a more 'teaser' poster like product.
